Enamel

Enamel paint is a solvent-based paint that, once dry, forms a hard, glossy and durable finish. It is often used for surfaces that require increased resistance, especially to weathering, scratches and humidity.

Here are its main characteristics:

Composition: It contains pigments, organic solvents (such as oils or alkyd resins), and sometimes hardening agents that improve its resistance.

Glossy finish: One of the distinguishing features of enamel paint is its glossy appearance, although satin or matte versions also exist.

Slow drying: Unlike acrylic paint, it takes longer to dry, but this allows it to form a smoother and more uniform layer.

Resistance: Once dry, it becomes very hard and resistant, which makes it suitable for surfaces exposed to harsh conditions, such as furniture, household appliances, metal objects, or even cars.

Various uses: In addition to being used in decorative arts, it is commonly used in industry, automobile bodywork, or even for exterior elements such as windows and doors.
