COLLE 21 Resin black UV Led (25g.)

The Black Resin Glue  Colle21 LED UV is a single-component epoxy resin whose curing is activated by UV light. 

The exposure time with the UV LED lamp  is between 20 and 60 seconds maximum to obtain complete polymerization. 

The advantage of this glue lies in the patented pre-activation principle: ( photocurable after 2 to 8 seconds of exposure) the glue remains liquid, allowing the elements to be assembled with the UV LED lamp. 

The Black UV LED Clear Resin Glue Colle21 then cures to final strength with the UV LED lamp , without additional irradiation, an ideal function for mechanically mounted parts where the Black Resin Glue is not immediately required as well as for very short production cycle times, in series.   

The Black LED UV Resin Glue has extremely high stability to UV, high ambient temperatures (from -40°C to +150°C) as well as to possible chemical attacks.

• The main advantage of Colle21 UV LED Black Resin Glue is its extremely fast curing time. Unlike epoxy resin, which takes between 24 and 72 hours to cure,  Colle21 UV LED Resin Glue cures in just a few minutes.  
• These products are also  easier to use, as they are ready to use without the need for mixing, unlike two-part epoxy resins. 

Preparing the workspace: 

• Protective Equipment: To ensure your safety, it is essential to wear gloves and an organic gas mask. 
• If a mask is not available, at least make sure to ventilate your room. It is also recommended to use safety glasses to avoid any contact of the resin with the eyes. 
• Preparing accessories: Note that, unlike two-component epoxy resin kits, Colle21 UV Resin products do not come with gloves. 
• It is therefore crucial to acquire them separately before starting your project. 
• Safety and cleanliness of the place: The Black Liquid  UV Resin Colle21 can be irritating on contact with the skin.  

Use this product under adult supervision. Contains substances that may cause allergies. Use appropriate protective equipment and consult the safety data sheet. 

• However, once hardened, it ceases to be irritating. It is recommended to keep young children and pets away from the work area, remove your jewelry, and wear suitable DIY clothing to avoid any accidents. 
• Workspace Protection: Protect your work surface with a silicone mat to make cleaning easier and prevent damage to your furniture. Resin is difficult, if not impossible, to remove from a wooden table once it has cured. Also, be sure to perform this activity in the shade, as bright or direct sunlight can cause the resin to harden very quickly, even without a UV lamp. 

Application tips to avoid bubbles: 

• Preparation before pouring: Avoid shaking your bottle of Colle21 Black UV LED Resin to prevent bubbles from forming. For color mixtures, it is recommended to place your resin in light-tight containers approximately 30 minutes before pouring it into your mold. 
• These cases are essential for keeping your UV Resin and UV LED Resin colored for several weeks. 
• Temperature Optimization: To improve resin processing, place your bottle and mold on an electric heating mat specially designed to condition the Resin. 
• Another surface with very gentle heat, such as a hot water bottle, can also be used. 
• Applying heat helps the bubbles rise to the surface and burst. 
• Finishing technique: You can also quickly pass the flame of a gas lighter over the surface of the Resin Colle21 to eliminate surface bubbles.  
• This quick and effective method produces a smooth, blemish-free finish.
