The Fitter is one of the few fighter aircraft with variable-sweep wings. The Su-22 is the export version of the Russian Su-17 and was used by the air forces mainly of Eastern European countries, such as Poland, East Germany, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic. For its time, the Fitter was a very complex aircraft, as evidenced by the many details presented in this book. The cockpit section is 16 pages long, the maintenance section is 24 pages long! Our Polish friends provided us with many spectacular aerial photographs, presented in this 140-page book.
