While the Supermarine Spitfire garnered most of the attention during the Battle of Britain, it was the Hawker Hurricane that did most of the heavy lifting. This third 116-page book in the Classic series showcases this World War II fighter aircraft in exquisite detail. Built primarily of wood and fabric, the Hurricane was a fast, capable aircraft, and we wanted to showcase every detail—from engine to cockpit, fuselage to wings. Only eight examples remain flying today, and most are featured in this book. This book allowed us to build a 1/32 scale Hurricane IIB, complete with our own decals!
