This 116-page book was published exactly 50 years after the BAE Systems Hawk's first flight and is probably the first to present it in such detail. It contains one of the most comprehensive maintenance chapters we have ever devoted to it, after visiting the hangars at RAF Valley. It features both the original BAE Systems Hawk (T1, T1A) and numerous export versions of this single-engine trainer, as well as the T2, recognizable by its long nose and spread wings. The cockpit, landing gear, fuselage, air brakes, wings, and empennage are all represented in great detail.
